I don't think it defeats the point of organics at all - infact it supports farmers in Spain which would otherwise have to turn to conventional agriculture. I agree that it is better to source locally, and we will always endeavor to do so, but you can't always be purist about these things. People want tomatoes in winter - is it better that they get organic tomatoes from Spain through us, or non organic tomatoes from South Africa through Tesco? We'd love to only offer produce from the UK (hell, we'd love to offer produce just from within the M25 if it we could) but at this time of year that means nothing but root vegetables (most of the broccoli, spinach, etc didn't survive the bad weather). That might be ok for you, but for most it would not be, and we'd lose customers before we made the slightest difference. When we're up and running fully, we will be offering a 'UK Seasonal' box, which only contains items grown in the UK. Hopefully we'll have you as a customer! Thanks Andru Hi Anna,
