Get your food at cost price and help manage day-to-day runnings and shape the future of the organisation.
We run a rota of responsibilities for members covering tasks like ordering, collection and delivery.
The root of it all...
We combine orders from across the neighbourhood and take those orders directly to wholesalers and producers.
Retailers commonly add between 10% and 80% ontop of wholesale price. By taking ownership of food purchasing on behalf of our members, we can get amazingly low prices.
We add a small margin to cover costs, and charge a delivery fee. Our workers are currently all volunteers. Any profit made goes back into the co-op and the local community, not the pockets of shareholders.
